Can I come see the kittens? Do you allow home visits?
Yes — we allow home visits only to families who have placed a deposit. Because our cattery is also our home, the safety of our family and kittens is our top priority. Young kittens have very fragile immune systems and can easily pick up illnesses from outside. For this reason, we limit in-person visits to serious adopters only. However, we’re happy to schedule a live video call so you can meet your kitten face-to-face online!
Are Sphynx or Devon Rex cats hypoallergenic? This is one of the most common questions we hear! While Sphynx and Devon Rex cats are often called “hypoallergenic,” the truth is — no cat breed is completely allergen-free. What makes these breeds easier for allergy sufferers is their low-shedding coats and reduced spread of the Fel d1 protein (the main cat allergen). Sphynx cats have no fur to trap dander, and Devon Rex cats have very short, fine coats that shed minimally. Some people with mild allergies find they tolerate these breeds much better than others — but reactions vary by person. 👉 Read more:Are Sphynx and Devon Rex Cats Really Hypoallergenic?
Do you have a waitlist? Yes, we do have a waitlist. After you fill out an application, we will send you a link for our private Facebook group. Once kittens are born, I will post pictures and updates in the FB group. When kittens are 5-8 weeks old, I will start reaching out to families on the list. Once you pick your kitten, a contract will be emailed for you to review and sign. After contract is signed (within 24 hours) a $500 deposit is needed to reserve your kitten. The balance is due at pick-up/delivery (if using a flight nanny, then balance is due 10 days before travel).
Does it cost to join the waitlist? No, we don't require any money to join our waitlist. We do ask that you let us know if you change your mind or find a kitten elsewhere.
